Terms
These terms explain the basic rules for using Jiyan by Academy. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to use it responsibly and keep your account information secure.
Your account
You register with a username and password. You are responsible for keeping your password and recovery answers private. If you use a shared device, log out when you finish.
Your content
The tasks, notes, documents, goals, journal entries, money records, and other information you add to Jiyan are your account content. You are responsible for the content you save and for making sure you have the right to upload or store it.
Acceptable use
Do not use Jiyan to store illegal content, attack the service, attempt to access another account, overload the system, or interfere with other users. Accounts may be suspended or removed if they are used in a harmful way.
Availability
We aim to keep Jiyan available and reliable, but no online service can promise perfect uptime or zero data loss. You should export your own backups for important information.
- Use the app for personal organization, not emergency needs.
- Keep your own backup for critical documents or records.
- Report bugs through Support with your username and what happened.
Password recovery
Password recovery depends on the recovery questions and answers you set. If you forget your password and cannot answer your recovery questions, access may not be recoverable.
Account deletion
You can delete your account from My Account after confirming your current password. Deletion removes your login and active Jiyan data from the live account system. Older server backups may remain until normal backup replacement.
Changes
Jiyan by Academy may change features, improve the app, or update these terms as the service grows. Continued use of the app means you accept the current terms.
These terms are written in plain English so users can understand the service. If a feature changes, the current live version of this page is the version that applies.
Contact
If you have questions about these terms, privacy, or your account, use the Jiyan support page and include your username when account help is needed.
