JJiyan by Academy

Privacy

Jiyan by Academy is designed as a private personal workspace. Your account is separated by username, and your app data is stored under your own account so it can sync when you log in on academy.krd.

What we store

We store the information needed to run your account: username, encrypted password, app name, recovery question settings, account status, and login timestamps. We also store the content you choose to add inside Jiyan, such as tasks, habits, goals, notes, journal entries, reminders, documents, money records, settings, and other workspace data.

How your data is used

Your data is used to operate your account, save your Jiyan workspace, restore your session, support password recovery, and keep the service reliable. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your private Jiyan content for advertising.

Passwords and recovery

Your password is stored as a secure hash, not as readable text. Recovery answers are also stored as hashes. This means the system can check your password or recovery answers, but it is not designed to show them back to anyone.

Your private app content

The information you save inside Jiyan belongs to your account. The online assistant is offline by default. If you choose to connect your own AI provider key, your key stays on your device and is not saved in your Jiyan data file. Vault and uploaded documents are not included in assistant context by default.

Backups and reliability

Server backups may be kept so the service can recover from technical problems. Backups are used for reliability and repair, not for selling or advertising. If you delete your account, the active account and active app data are removed from the live account system, while older backup copies may remain until normal backup replacement.

Account deletion

You can delete your account from My Account after confirming your current password. Deleting your account removes your login and private Jiyan data from the active system. After deletion, you will need to create a new account if you want to use Jiyan again.

Security choices you control

Use a strong password, keep your recovery answers private, and log out on shared devices. You can change your password, update recovery questions, export your data from inside Jiyan, repair app cache, or delete your account from the account menu.

Contact

If you need help with privacy, recovery, or deletion, use the Jiyan support page. Do not send your password or recovery answers in support messages.
